A group of our Debate Mate club attended their very first competition yesterday evening at Willows High School, where they faced 2 rounds of debating each, against St Teilo's, Cathays and Willows. Sadly, they did not bring any wins back to Eastern High, but they worked so hard and came so close to victory! They should all be very proud of themselves, particularly as Year 7s going up against experienced Year 10 debaters! Well done everyone! Onwards to preparations for the next debate in May!
