We will start giving results out at 9.00am for year 11 pupils and will last until 10.00am. You will be asked to walk around the back of the school where the results will be given out from the canteen doors. You will be asked to adhere to social distancing and make a quick exit from school site once you have picked up your results. If you have any queries then please see the staff on hand. Should you not be available to collect, result slips will be posted to your home address.
You may have seen the news that the Welsh government has stated that the highest grade will be awarded from either the GCSE teacher predictions or the Awarding Boards algorithm. This is good news for you and we look forward to seeing you all on Thursday.
BTEC Results - As you may have seen in the news, Pearson / Edexcel are reviewing the grades allocated for these qualifications and there may be changes to your grades over the coming days.
As all GCSE results are based on teacher predictions this year , the only appeals that we are anticipating are learners who are questioning the prediction given by their teacher. Should you wish to appeal, please see information here outlining the process.
Cardiff and Vale College have produced the attached leaflet should you need further information / advice. This will also be shared on results day and is attached below.
