Park Gate Hotel's head chef cooks up a storm with our Year 10 pupils.
On 15th May, our Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students had the privilege of welcoming a special guest, Rob, the Head Chef from the Park Gate Hotel. During his visit, Chef Rob delivered a series of engaging and informative demonstrations, sharing his expertise in a variety of culinary techniques. These included filleting and cooking fish, butchering and sectioning a chicken, and exploring the use of herbs and seasonings to enhance flavour in cooking.
Students had the opportunity to sample the expertly prepared fish dishes and gained valuable insights throughout the session. It was a truly enriching learning experience, and we are delighted that our pupils were able to benefit from such professional instruction.
We are incredibly proud of the mature and respectful way our students conducted themselves, once again serving as excellent ambassadors for our school. We look forward to seeing them apply their new skills in future culinary projects.
